Scott’s practice focuses on construction law and civil litigation.
CONSTRUCTION LAW
Scott represents design-builders, general contractors, subcontractors, specialty contractors, owner/developers, and suppliers in construction matters. He acts as litigation counsel in state and federal courts and arbitration forums on a variety of construction claims, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, construction defects, schedule impacts, delay, disruption, acceleration, labor productivity, sequencing, inefficiency, differing site conditions, defective specifications, design errors and omissions, change orders, and payment claims.
CIVIL LITIGATION
Before joining BHGR, Scott worked for Am Law 100 and 200 law firms, litigating cases in Colorado, Indiana, and Illinois. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts in a wide array of cases, including those concerning breach of contract, breach of warranty, business disputes, construction defects, healthcare, insurance, medical and legal malpractice, personal injury, and premises liability.
