CONSTRUCTION LAW
Cookie represents clients across the construction spectrum in construction-related transactions and disputes. She negotiates and drafts multi-million-dollar construction contracts on complex projects. She also handles cases in state and federal courts as well as arbitration forums on a variety of construction claims, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, construction defects, schedule impacts, delay, disruption, acceleration, labor productivity, sequencing, inefficiency, differing site conditions, defective specifications, design errors and omissions, change orders, and payment claims.
GENERAL CIVIL LITIGATION
Cookie represents a variety of commercial clients in state and federal courts in cases concerning breach of contract, business disputes, commercial leases, creditors’ rights, eminent domain, evictions, real estate, and torts.

During law school, Cookie received numerous honors and awards. She received accolades as a CALI Award winner, a Presidential Fellow, a Dean’s Merit Scholar, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. She made the Dean’s List and served as a Student Editor for the Construction Law Journal, President of the Texas Exes, and Secretary of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
B.S., The University of Texas at Austin
In addition to a degree in Public Relations, Cookie earned a Business Foundations certificate.

Cookie grew up in Austin, Texas and is a diehard Longhorn fan and proud Texas Ex. When she is not in the office, she enjoys traveling around the world, eating interesting foods, spending time with her fiancé and two rescue pit bulls, and being outdoors hiking, kayaking, golfing, and playing basketball. In addition, Cookie sits on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, For the Children, which provides school supplies to elementary school children in need in the Austin, Texas area.
