Jason is an accomplished trial lawyer, representing clients in a broad range of civil and criminal matters.

CIVIL LITIGATION + ARBITRATION

Jason is a creative problem-solver who represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration forums. He provides pre-litigation consultation and advice to help his clients avoid claims and litigation. Jason also counsels clients on all aspects of civil litigation, from claim investigation to trial to appeal. He litigates business torts, breach of contract, civil theft, construction defects, consumer protection, discrimination, employment, fraud, insurance coverage, premises liability, real estate, serious personal injury, sexual harassment, trade secrets, whistleblower, and wrongful death claims with as much as $100M in controversy.

CRIMINAL LAW

Jason started his legal career as a Colorado Deputy Public Defender and is dedicated to defending the criminally accused and protecting their constitutional rights. He has won acquittals at trial in a wide variety of criminal prosecutions, including the most serious felony offenses. While capable of trying any criminal case to verdict, Jason strives to resolve his clients’ criminal cases prior to trial and helps them proactively address personal or behavioral issues that may have contributed to criminal allegations. In addition to his trial work, Jason provides post-conviction representation, successfully working to reverse convictions or reduce sentences.
