Legal Assistants

Anne has worked at BHGR for almost a year as a Legal Assistant. Prior to joining the firm, Anne worked at GIS Satellite Imaging company. Anne has a B.A. in Human and Family Studies from Colorado State University. Outside of the office, Anne enjoys spending time in the outdoors, rock climbing, camping, hiking, or exploring. She also loves to dance, read, and bake.

Shoshannah has worked at BHGR for over two and a half years. In her time at the firm, Shoshannah has worked as a Floating Legal Secretary, New Employee Trainer, Firm Software Expert, and Template Designer. Prior to joining the firm, Shoshannah worked in the legal field for 14 years; 9 of those years were spent working as a contract/temporary Legal Assistant and Paralegal. Shoshannah has a B.M. from Central Michigan University with a double concentration in Cello Performance and Music Composition/Theory. She also got her Masters in Music from the University of Denver, Lamont School of Music, with a double concentration in Cello Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy. Outside of the office, Shoshannah enjoys spending time with her wife and cats, listening to audiobooks, crocheting, playing music, and assisting with her wife’s digital art portfolio website.

JoAnn has worked at BHGR for 6 years, primarily supporting our civil litigation practice group. Prior to joining the firm, JoAnn worked as a Paralegal and Legal Assistant in PA, DE, KS, CA, and is an Army Veteran. JoAnn has a B.S. in Organizational Management from Hope Univerisity. Outside of the office, JoAnn enjoys writing, crafts/painting, and quilting.

Liz has worked at BHGR for over 3 years as a Litigation and Real Estate Legal Assistant. Prior to joining the firm, Liz worked as a legal assistant at Mann & Maximon for 17 years; before that she was in the computer storage industry for 16 years, working in marketing and sales. Liz has a B.S. in Marketing and Finance from CU’s Leeds College of Business. Outside of the office, Liz enjoys taking hikes and walks with her golden retriever, gardening, cooking, and traveling.

Liz has worked at BHGR since 2003 as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal, mainly with our criminal defense team. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the Boulder District Attorney’s Office and the Boulder Probation Department. Liz has worked with Partner, Jon Banashek since 1998. Outside of the office, Liz enjoys spending time with her kids and grandkids, traveling to warm places and singing with the firm band, Livin’ the Dream.

Abigail has worked at BHGR for over a year as a Legal Assistant. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a legal assistant, gaining experience in Litigation, Consumer Finance Departments, and Construction Litigation. Abigail has a B.A. in Kinesiology from Arizona State University. Outside of the office, Abigail enjoys exploring the scenic beauty of Colorado through hiking, biking, and running.

Jill has worked at BHGR for over seven years as a Legal Assistant. She obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 2003. Outside of the office, Jill loves to read.
