Sustainability

BHGR 2030

At Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP, we have a vested interest in the future of our planet. We looked to our partners, team members, community leaders, and experts in climate change reform and developed and adopted “BHGR 2030.”

BHGR 2030 encompasses the firm’s short and long-term sustainability initiatives designed to reduce our environmental footprint and incentivize reform at the policy-making level.  These initiatives are overseen and managed by the firm’s Sustainability Committee, led by partners Rudy Verner, David Kerr, Peter Schaub, and Geoffrey Williamson, associate Kevin Falvo, and administrated by Ashley Cawthorn.

Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti adopted BHGR 2030 in 2022 with the goal of becoming carbon neutral across all of its offices and operations by 2030.

Community Partners

We have looked to our community to help us achieve our greenhouse gas emission reduction goals and business practices and incentivize our employees to adopt healthy and sustainable work habits.  Through these partnerships, we strive to become champions for climate change reform and industry leaders in this lifelong initiative.

Conservation Colorado works throughout the state to protect our air, land, water, and people.

POW helps passionate outdoor people protect the places they live and love from climate change. They are a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies protecting our world today and future generations.

Colorado Water Trust is a home-grown, statewide 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Since 2001, they have restored 16.8 billion gallons of water to 588 miles of rivers and streams across the state. They work collaboratively with their partners so that their projects benefit both the people we work with and our rivers.

BHGR Sustainability Committee

The sustainability committee is made up of partners and associates who meet regularly to strategize, develop, and implement the sustainability initiatives adopted by the firm. The committee reports back to the management committee and partnership as a whole on the status of our current environmental initiatives as well as future opportunities to effect change both within and outside the firm.

Renewable Resources

Our principal office in Boulder, CO, is now and will continue to be enrolled in Xcel Energy’s Windsource Program. Through retired Renewable Energy Credits, the firm is offsetting our carbon footprint with 100% Colorado wind.
