Pragya Panta
Pragya received her Bachelor of Business Management and Law (BBM, LLB) Degree from Kathmandu University, Nepal. During those five years, she learned about the US, UK, and Nepal legal systems. In Nepal, she worked with the Office of the Attorney General, focusing primarily on criminal law matters and private law firms, where she worked around corporate law. She also contributed as a legal researcher in public interest litigation projects focused on environmental law that was advocated before the Supreme Court of Nepal. Pragya has always been interested in working in the US legal field, specifically in Colorado, and last month, she graduated with an LL.M. focused on US Law from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her year in Colorado has been focused on learning more about the US legal system, building a community in Boulder, and getting involved in organizations like Silicon Flatirons and the Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program. As a law clerk at BHGR, she’ll primarily work with our civil and criminal litigation groups and will actively explore other areas to build a solid ground for her legal career.
Emma Wrede
Colorado Native, Emma Wrede joins BHGR this summer as a law clerk. Emma is a rising 2L at the University of Colorado Boulder – School of Law. Before law school, Emma studied at Saint Martin’s University, where she was an NCAA athlete on the university’s women’s basketball team. Emma graduated (Magna Cum Laude) with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Saint Martin’s University. This summer, Emma is eager to explore different areas of law and looks forward to learning from our attorneys and team.
Misty Schlabaugh
Misty continues as a clerk at BHGR, where she has clerked since May of 2023. She is currently a 4L in the part-time program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She was the managing editor for the Denver Law Review, Volume 101. She is currently the President of Students for Sensible Drug Policy DU and the Vice President of the ACLU DU. Misty has an undergraduate degree in business communications and a graduate degree in legal administration. Prior to enrolling in law school, Misty was a paralegal for eight years, primarily in litigation and bankruptcy law. Since beginning her advanced legal studies and her clerkship at the firm she has taken the time to learn from our attorneys in litigation, real estate, intellectual property, bankruptcy, ADR, and estate planning.
