Attorney Halina Dziewit will be presenting an intellectual property CLE course to the Boulder County Bar Association, Wednesday, March 10, from 12 – 1 p.m.

Halina is a member of Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti’s intellectual property legal team. Her background emphasizes work in technology transfer and licensing. These processes initially involve the exchange of confidential and proprietary information between parties. While non-disclosure agreements seem to be a first step that appears effortless and straightforward, a lack of agreement on an NDA can often be a non-starter because of significant disagreement on terms and long-range commitments.

Recently, several members of the Association of University Technology Managers and the Licensing Executive Society – U.S. and International have adopted a template that contains universally acceptable terms to get discussions off the ground sooner rather than later.

Halina will present a workable mutual non-disclosure agreement template that has terms that seem to be acceptable across academic, government, and industry lines. Learn more and register here.
