Legal Assistant
Mishal is an attorney in the firm’s litigation and intellectual property groups. Her practices include assisting with complex commercial and civil litigation, complex construction disputes, criminal litigation, and intellectual property enforcement matters.
Mishal’s interest in a legal career began in her sophomore year of high school, when she participated in the High School Law Institute at Columbia University in New York. She went on to represent the U.S. at the Hague, Netherlands, in the International Moot Court Competition, during her senior year of high school. Mishal then went on to Lawrence University where she was a pre-law student who double majored in Economics and Government with a focus on international relations. Her studies in Economics focused on game theory and how it relates to litigation, innovation and its effects on stock market valuation, and health care in the US. During her time at Lawrence University, Mishal also served as the founder and president of Lawrence’s Mock Trial Team for all 4-years.
Prior to law school, Mishal spent two years working in NYC. Her background includes a mix of financial services roles and data analytics. Mishal’s experience ranges from private equity to debt management, and even Education policy analysis.
Mishal then went on to the University of Denver, where she obtained both a JD and MA in Economics. During her time in law school Mishal took advantage of the University of Denver’s experiential learning program and clerked for two judges, interned at the Colorado Secretary of State’s office, and interned for a commercial litigation firm in Denver. In the summer of 2020, prior to her final year in law school, Mishal joined the BHGR team as a summer law clerk. Mishal continued as a law clerk with BHGR throughout the duration of her 3L year and ultimately joined the firm as an associate upon graduation.
Mishal grew up in New York City and upon moving to Colorado for law school discovered a newfound appreciation for the outdoors and hiking. In her spare time, Mishal also enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and traveling.
