Legal Assistant
Matt Schlager is a litigation associate at Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP. Mr. Schlager has ample trial experience from his four years as a Deputy District Attorney in Denver, working cases from DUIs up to Homicides. He concluded his prosecutorial career in the Family Violence Unit, working Felony Domestic Violence cases and Felony Child Abuse. Mr. Schlager uses his knowledge of case development and trial strategy to negotiate outcomes or secure verdicts that are favorable for both civil and criminal clients.
When not in the courtroom or at the negotiation table, Mr. Schlager enjoys mixed martial arts, rock climbing, and (professionally) setting off fireworks.
