Benjamin M. Wilson
Legal Assistant
At Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP, Ben Wilson’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, including real estate, contract, and fraud and theft matters; insurance coverage issues; and nonprofit and performing arts law. Ben’s broad background and experience, in tandem with BHGR’s demonstrated commitment to integrity, accessibility, and excellence, provide a strong foundation for successful, constructive, and durable attorney-client relationships.
Ben is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School. While in law school, Ben served as an officer of the Public Interest Students’ Association, the Colorado Election Law Project, the Student Bar Association, and of the Law Students for the Performing Arts, receiving numerous scholarships for these and other efforts. Ben also served as a volunteer for Colorado Legal Services and competed in several moot court competitions, including as a member of the Law School’s National Moot Court teams. During law school, Ben worked as a law clerk at BHGR and as a legislative policy aide to state Sen. Michael Johnston, concentrating on present and prospective legislation before the Business, Labor and Technology committee of the Colorado Senate. While in law school, Ben also simultaneously earned a master’s degree in public administration. As Ben’s Capstone Project, he assisted one of Denver’s most promising young nonprofits, Engage 8, in its formative stages.
Before law and graduate school, Ben enjoyed a successful career as a critically-acclaimed musician, theater artist, and educator, and continues pursuing these interests as the music director and as a board member of The Catamounts, a nonprofit performing arts and education company in Boulder. When he’s not practicing law, Ben also enjoys spending time with his family, reading, cooking, yoga (the hotter the better), and walking around in these majestic Rocky Mountains.
