Khazian
Azar M. Khazian is part of Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti’s construction practice group, as well as the employment practice group. In addition to practicing construction law and employment law, Ms. Khazian also has experience in the areas of business and real estate litigation, as well as personal injury litigation. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in various stages of civil litigation, from inception to final resolution. Her clients have included small and large entities, and individuals; and she has represented them in a variety of arenas, including state and federal courts, as well as before administrative bodies.
Prior to joining BHGR, Ms. Khazian served as Of Counsel for a litigation firm in San Diego County, California. She also worked for Voices for Children, a non-profit organization in San Diego that recruits and trains volunteers to become Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) for children in the dependency system. Ms. Khazian spent her early years practicing as an associate at a civil litigation firm in San Diego. Prior to graduating from law school, Ms. Khazian also interned with the Department of the Public Defender for San Diego County.
Ms. Khazian is a member of the State Bar of California, licensed to practice in California. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law. She also has a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology and has co-authored two peer-reviewed articles published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology, and Social Influence. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, swimming, and simply spending time outdoors with her family.
