Just in time for Women’s History Month, Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP formed and formally introduced the BHGR Women’s Leadership Committee.

The Women’s Leadership Committee is comprised of sixteen female attorneys and was established to recognize and cultivate a supportive environment that promotes its outstanding women attorneys and to recruit additional feminine talent to the firm.

The four fundamental goals of the committee are to:

  • advance the recruitment, retention, and promotion of women attorneys from clerkships to equity partner enrollment;
  • foster and sustain a safe and supportive environment recognizing the unique challenges female attorneys experience;
  • to expand professional opportunities for BHGR’s women through client contact, referrals, mentoring, focused marketing, and networking; and
  • encourage BHGR’s women attorneys to partake in and enjoy community and life opportunities to foster a well-rounded and balanced life in and out of the office.

At the helm and chairing this committee is equity partner Sally Piskun. Sally has been practicing law for nearly twenty years in Colorado and Texas.

“In 2023, I hope to be a place of support and mentoring for the women of BHGR to really show how having women leaders can cultivate and diversify the culture of BHGR. As we continue lifting women leaders inside of BHGR, I hope we can support other female executives, entrepreneurs, and community members through educational programs and speaker engagements.”

The committee meets monthly to commune and support its commitment to the committee’s mission.
