Our Boulder community was hit with a senseless act of violence on March 22, 2021. And while time seemed to stop for hours, the night came, we woke, and for many, it was business as “usual.”
Employers have already been met with the extensive and ever-changing challenges of safely re-opening their doors amidst a pandemic. Yesterday’s shooting leaves employers, employees, and customers wondering about their overall safety at the workplace or the businesses they patronize.

Kathleen offered some insight on what employers should be paying attention to in terms of security in the workplace. Craig Knippenberg, principal at Knippenberg, Patterson, Langley & Associates, also cited in the article, addressed the other very critical element of mental health in the workplace.
